WAKE UP CALL
Wake Up Call is a 6-track-EP with lyrically charged melodies and acoustic-driven rhythms. The first track, I'm Going to the Beach explores topics ranging from belief, politics, and consumerism - questioning one's identity within them. The upbeat Sunny days is about letting go and Light in Your Doorway is about shining light to the ones you love.
Michael's debut album, The Odyssey was produced by ARIA Hall of Fame inductee, Lobby Loyde and consists of 12 highly diverse tracks ranging from grunge rock to poetic ballads. The first track, Threat to Part the Population discusses the contradiction of our disdain for the collective as though it's not made of the individual and laying blame to others. Birthday sings a sweet sad lullaby of life and it's highs and lows.
